Working With Individual Contacts

Manage contacts and clients within the Blinkbid interface. Contacts may be created from within Blinkbid or imported from an external source. The Address Book also contains a Portfolio Tracker application.

Create a new contact.

Create a new contact by selecting the New icon in the application header. The main contact screen will be displayed.

Duplicate a contact.

Duplicate an existing contact by selecting the Duplicate icon in the application header.

Delete a contact.

Delete a contact by selecting the Delete icon in the application header. Deleting a contact does not delete the jobs associated with the contact it only deletes the contact.

Email a contact.

Email a contact by selecting the Email icon in the application header.

Run a report for a contact.

Select report type from the Run A Report options box

The notes tab.

Notes tab displays a history log of the selected contact. As well as any other notes you want to record.

Assigning a contact to groups.

The Groups tab enables the user to assign the currently displayed contacts to an existing group or new group. Press the Group tab to see a list of existing groups. Click on the group to highlight it which indicates that the contact is now a member of that group which you can filter by in the expanded view of the address book.

The jobs a contact is linked to.

Select the Jobs tab to see a list of the jobs associated with the contact. Click on the job to open it.

Related contacts.

Related Contacts tab will display other contacts related to this contact that are from the same company, as well as any names entered in the "Met VIA" field of the contact page.

Contact specific usage lIcenses and terms & conditions.

The T & C tab allows the user to enter a custom usage license as well as terms and condition specifically for this contact. Clicking the green plus icon will give you a list of place holder tags that get converted to information from the actual job. The custom license and terms and conditions override whatever you have set up in the preferences when you create a job for this contact.
