Using Templates

Templates are a fantastic tool to jump start the bidding of any new job. If you are working on a massive, complicated estimate, you might want to consider saving it as template for future use.

Create a new template from the current estimate.

To create a new template from the current estimate to the following:

  1. Click on the Template tab to activate it.
  2. Click the Plus button.
  3. Fill out a name for the template.

Your template is now available for a future job.

Importing an existing template.

  1. Click in the Template tab to activate it.
  2. Click on a Template Name.
  3. If the estimate to invoice is empty the line items will be imported right away. If you have existing line items, you'll be asked if you want to merge the template line items with the existing ones, or if you want to replace the existing line items.

Deleting or renaming templates.

  1. Click on the List Manager in the sidebar.
  2. Click on the Templates tab.
  3. Click on a Template Name to rename or delete it.

Note: templates can not be edited.
