Now That Your Estimate is Approved
Yee haw, you got the gig. Now the real fun begins.
Transferring to production or the invoice.
Once you're estimate is approved by the client, you can transfer it to the Production window or to the Invoice. If the job is relatively straight forward and there's no need to track all the production receipts, you can transfer the estimate straight to the invoice. However, you're going to go into production and you need to track receipts and manage the budget for your job, you can take two paths form this point.
The workflow when working with a producer.
- The first depends on if you are having a producer manage your job for you. If you are then you'll want to share the job with your producer at this point for him or her to transfer the estimate to the production window. Once the job wraps they can send the production information back to the Blinkbid server for you to download into your production window so you can make your final invoice.
- The second path is if you're producing the job yourself, you can transfer the job to the production window and manage the job during or after your wrap.
