Item Catalog
You've got goods and services to put on a bid, here's where you keep 'em organized. You can store prices, download other categories and share your catalog with other people.
Blinkbid is dedicated to providing item catalogs to all creative genres in as many languages as possible. If the item catalog you need is not available, please contact us. We'll work with you to create one at no charge to you. If you need an item catalog in a different language than we offer, let us know and we'll get it done.
Add a new category to your catalog.
Click the New Category button and fill out the name of your new category.
Add a line item to your catalog.
Click the Add Line Item button and choose a category then fill out the description of the item. The rate and tax preferences are optional.
Edit or delete a line item.
To edit a line item in your catalog, simply click on it.
Merge two categories.
If you have a category named "Crew" and another category named "Crew 1" and you'd like to merge those two categories into one simply click on the category you don't need anymore and name it the same name of the category that you'd like to merge with. In this example we click on the "Crew 1" category and click Rename and then change the name from "Crew 1" to "Crew."
Changing to a different catalog.
To load a different catalog from the library click on the drop down menu Load a different catalog. Please note that loading a different catalog permanently deletes your current catalog.
Importing a shared catalog.
If someone shared their catalog with you, they will email you a unique share code. To import that catalog click the Import Shared button and enter the share code. Please note that importing a catalog permanently deletes your current catalog.
Importing a catalog from our server.
If you are a foreign language user or you are customer that asked for a custom item catalog you can easily import a new catalog into your Blinkbid catalog library.
- Click on the Get More button
- Choose a Language, and then choose a catalog.
The catalog will be imported into your catalog library. You can access the new catalog by following the Change to a different catalog instructions above.
Importing a catalog category from our server.
We're always looking at the new trends in the various creative genres. For example, in photography the DSLR video revolution has spawned a whole new set of categories and line items needed for production. In Blinkbid you can easily add new categories by doing the following:
- Click on the Get More button
- Choose a Language, and then choose a category.
Unlike importing an entire catalog, the imported category is merged with the catalog you already have.
