Estimate Revisions
The client wants the numbers one way, then another, then they want the partly cloudy Thursday bid. Blinkbid enables you to create and track multiple revision of the same estimate.
Create an estimate revision.
To create a copy or revision of the estimate that your currently working on click in the New Revision button in the button bar. Then name the revision. When you are done you will be looking at a copy of the estimate you were just working on. You can now add, delete and modify the line items as you need. Your original estimate is saved in the database which you can easily access (see below) if you want to go back to it.
How many estimate revision do I have?
The current estimate revision you are working as well as the count of other revisions can be found in the revision status bar at the top of the window.
Open a different revision.
What's an imported revision?
If you look at the revision status bar and you see "Imported on ..." that is an indication that the revision you are looking at was imported from our server from a shared source. Each time you create or update a job with a share code, the new or updated information is imported as a revision.
