Tracking your usage licenses.

Usage license tracking is a list of jobs in which the Usage Licenses have expired. Usage license expiry dates are determined in the Terms window of each job. When you create a usage license for your client, Blinkbid will determine the expiry date based on the data you enter into the usage license builder. If you write your own usage license or use a custom usage license stored in your preferences or in the notes section of a contact card, you can click on the Usage Tracker button (above) to enter an expiry date for the usage license. Clicking on a job in the Tracking window will present you with a set of options.

  1. Remove From List: This DOES NOT delete the job. It just removes the job from the Usage Tracking list.
  2. Show the job information: Pops up a window with the relevant information about the job, including the usage license. There you'll find a button to email the contact from the job.
  3. Open the job: takes you to the job.
  4. Create a followup invoice: this function creates another job based on the information from the one in the Usage License Tracking list. It enables users to quickly construct a new invoice for additional usage rights.
