A Quick Few Steps to Your First Bid
Want to skip the hubbub and bang out a bid fast. Well you're in the right spot. Follow these steps and you'll have an estimate built in a flash.
Create a job.
- Click on the Create a New Job tab in the sidebar.
- Click on the New Contact button.
- Fill out some basic info about your client and click Continue.
Give the job a nickname and a description.
- The job nickname is for you to identify the job easily.
- The job description is a description of the work to be done for the client as well as any other pertinenet information for the job like deal details and expectations for the artist.
- If you need to fill out more billing details about your client do it now - the contact card in the address book will automatically update.
Make a quick usage license.
Make sure your client knows you're a pro and that you own the rights to your work and they're just buying specific rights to use your creation.
- Click on the Terms tab.
- Click on the Usage License button.
Build your usage license.
- Answer the questions (if you need a hint click on the question mark next to the field).
- Click the Build the Usage LIcense button.
Start building your estimate.
- Click the Estimate tab.
- Start clicking the things you need in Item Catalog on the right side of the window.
